TaipeiEYE

Discover the vibrant cultural heritage of Taiwan at TaipeiEYE, Taiwan's first "tourist theater," established in 2002. TaipeiEYE offers an immersive experience that brings traditional performances to life. Arrive early to witness performers applying makeup, try on colorful opera costumes, and enjoy live music, artifact displays, and craft activities.

After a four-year hiatus, TaipeiEYE reopened in February 2024 with Peking opera classics like "Monkey King" and "Legend of the White Snake," running every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Performances are subtitled in Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean, ensuring accessibility for all guests.

TaipeiEYE's offerings extend beyond opera, showcasing indigenous dance, lion dance, puppetry, and acrobatics. Located in the Taiwan Cement Building, TaipeiEYE bridges the past and present, celebrating Taiwan's rich cultural legacy. Each visit promises a captivating experience where tradition and artistry come alive. Join Tour East and immerse yourself in Taiwan’s cultural wonders at TaipeiEYE!
