Weiweijia Persimmon Cakes Education Farm

Autumn is the season when persimmons get ripe, and Xinpu township in Hsinchu, Taiwan, is famous for growing them. Local farmers use traditional Hakka methods to carefully dry the fruit and make a tasty treat called 'Dried Persimmon.'

The land here has rolling hills and a dry climate, which is perfect for drying persimmons. Surprisingly, more than 80% of Taiwan's persimmons come from this area. Weiweijia Persimmon Cakes Education Farm in Xinpu has transformed from a regular farm into a popular tourist spot, covering about 3 hectares.

People visiting the farm not only get to enjoy the delicious taste of persimmons but also learn about the history of the 'Hometown of Persimmons' through interesting tours and hands-on activities. The beautiful 'Persimmon World,' shining in golden-yellow colors, adds to the charm of Taiwan's autumn scenery. Visitors can't help but stop, appreciate, and take pictures of the stunning views.
